This beautiful sculpture is an Amazon Discus, an elegant freshwater fish. They are flat to swim through tree roots to evade predators. Their colors were noticed through breeding in the aquarium hobby creating one of the most wide range of colors in fish known to date.
This elegant fish is one of my favorite sculptures to make as the discus is my favorite aquarium fish.
Featuring saffron orange, orange, and purple to create a contrasting elegance.
