In less than two weeks, we’ll be back in Florida for the Pensacola Maker Faire on Saturday November, 12th. Before we go all in for the event, there will be a Maker Kick Off Celebration on Friday, November 11th as well! Once it’s nice and dark, we’ll be doing some fire spinning with our contact staff. Make sure to reserve your ticket as there is limited space for the Kick Off event. On the day of the event, we’ll have our Mobile Glassblowing Studios Mini Dragon with us to do some live glassblowing demonstrations!
We also have planned to do a couple of Martial Arts Seminars guiding people through basic self defense along with some calisthenics and stretching for creating a stronger body. Our self defense seminar will go over essential moves that you can practice in order to effectively defend yourself against an assailant. As we teach, practice makes permanent, so reinforcing these new techniques will be critical for using them effectively.
We’ll finish the night off with another fire spinning performance to turn the heat back up as the sun comes down. The Faire will be filled with various other artists and creators providing a variety of tech, art, health, and so many other amazing things at this faire that you wouldn’t want to miss. A big thank you to my Digital Media professor from Salisbury University, Preston Poe, for letting me know about this wonderful event.
