We have been on a mission to create meaningful art instead of just pretty things. Putting intention and meaning behind the work is important. With the martial arts and yoga training, the awareness of the self is truly expanded. Our mission has been to incorporate that into the work being created to not only put our energy into each piece with intention but to also help spread the wisdom that is this lifestyle of dharma.
We’ve recently completed creating the chakra series which you can find in various forms from ornaments, pint glasses, stemless wineglasses, rocks glasses, and even shot glasses available in our shop. With these different forms all featuring the same color pattern, they have the intention to spread awareness of what each chakra represents. From root to crown, our chakras often hold in our suppressed emotions creation whirlpools of energy that draw us to experiences in order for us to deal with these emotions. Through self awareness and introspection, we can sit with these feelings allowing them to flow through the body instead of just sit there creating problems.
When we allow that energy to flow, we create greater awareness of ourselves instilling further calm and clarity of mind furthering our journey of self mastery and realization, this is the point of yoga and martial arts. Through artwork, we can spread this wisdom through mindful creation of these objects by using certain colors, patterns, and intentions. Art can be something aesthetically pleasing, yet when we choose to take the next step into making it meaningful is when the work truly transforms. We begin to spread that passion and awareness through the art helping inspire and sharing the vibrations though the work.
We plan on expanding our vase, bowls, and drinking horn offerings to include all of the chakras as well so stay tuned for the development on that aspect of the series. At the moment, we have the entire chakra series complete for all ornaments and drinking glasses.
