Mind, Body, and Spirit Martial Arts Workshop

We will be hosting a mind, body, and spirit martial arts workshop in various locations as we travel. Our next seminar will be held at FYN Naked Bash and Roots to Crown in St.Petersburg, FL. Our Roots to Crown events are on the following dates:

  • Monday, April 17th – 4:44pm to 6:00pm
  • Wednesday, April 26th – 5:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday, April 29th – 9:00am to 10:30pm
  • Wednesday, May 3rd – 5:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday, May 6th – 9:00am to 10:30pm

These seminars will be focused on establishing a balance in the mind, body, and spirit through the use of martial arts. We will be teaching various techniques of different days in order to establish a good foundation and motivation for the attendees to continue their martial arts journey. Establishing a strong root for self defense through rigorous training. Thereafter, we will continue exercising the body through calisthenics and stretching to not only release but lengthen the muscles creating better blood flow and mobility.

Allowing our bodies to release stored energy in a healthy outlet that also brings awareness to the present moment by exiting thought and establishing presence. Allowing our minds to focus on our movements and gaining a sense of how we can better control our bodies. Going deeper, we will finish the class with a meditation to establish internal peace and joy that we may carry with us once leaving the class.

The goal of studying martial arts is to establish this inner peace so we may spread it to those around us and also help deescalate situations before they may arise into conflict. We study martial arts to learn about ourselves in our bodies, our minds, and learning to become aware of our spirit. Through practice, we may gain insight on ourselves in how our emotions influence us, thereby allowing us to overcome these impacts. We are the observers, not the emotions themselves. Creating separation and a detachment from the physical allows us to flow and increase awareness. This helps transcend the mind into a further state healing previous thought patterns that once influenced us.

We train to learn about ourselves transforming what was into what we wish to be. Unlocking our potentials through practice that becomes permanence. Join us in our study of the arts and the journey of self realization.

We also teach online classes if you wish to take your practice further in establishing a more regular practice. It is important to repeat the techniques in order to create muscle memory and discipline in the body and mind. This allows us to remove thinking when acting and transition into a state of instinct and expression. Be with peace and love and hope to see you all in training!
